Image Beauty and Pravana Review

Hello..!! Today I'm going to be doing a review for the website I ordered my Pravana dye from and the dye as well..!! ImageBeauty sells hair appliances, all different types of dyes and hair care products, cosmetics, fragrances, skin care, bath and body products and SO much more!

I've purchased from this website before and ordered Pravana Vivids in violet the first time and I loved how it turned out so much I ordered a different color and decided to do a review on it, unfortunately to purchase Pravana in salons and stores you need a cosmetology license which I'm in the process of getting or know someone who already has one who can purchase it for you, but you can always order online if you can wait the time it takes to arrive to you. Ok lets get started! 

This is the stock photo used for the sample color, this is Pravana ChromaSilk Vivids in Red..ITEM #: 400811090 and IMAGE BEAUTY ID: IB35776. This color is still in stock and the price is $7.19 a tube (3oz) which is the best price I could find online, shipping was $7.49 but I had a free shipping offer with $30 worth of products purchased which was nice but I didn't need anything extra at the time. They have different offers and discounts all the time on the website though!

This is the box it came in which arrived on time at my door step in 6 days which I was very happy about, and nothing was damaged from the outside. 

I opened the box and it was filled to the top with styrofoam peanuts..like I said I ordered from this website before and there packaging has always been wonderfully secure.

After a bit of digging I was finally able to pull the box of dye out :D

Out of the box, I was so happy and excited to try this color~ Pravana Chromailk Vivids has a range of vibrant demi-permanent colors: Silver, Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink, Magenta, Violet, Green, Blue and Wild Orchid. 

All the vivids color selections, you don't need to mix in any developer..just apply it directly to your hair from the tube..there is also keratin amino acids which strengthens your hair and will leave a beautiful shine and silk amino acids which acts as a color carrier to help drive color deep into your hair as well. It also has quite a pleasant smell to it~ Now using the product!

Here is how blonde my hair was before I applied the dye...the lighter your hair is the better the color will stick with these bright colors.

I did re bleach my roots but here is a pic of a few week after..as you can see they were coming in nicely x_x  I also kept my hair like I usually part it instead of down the middle before I applied the dye.

Here is a pic of how I parted my hair before applying the dye, I kept it parted to the side and parted it vertically and horizontally so I had four sections..in the pic above I have both back halves clipped up and the front halves down since I started there first, this way works best for me.

Everything I used: dye bowl, brush, clips, dye of course and GLOVES..so your hands won't stain.

After a lot of squeezing I finally got all 3oz out...you don't have to use the whole tube if you are only doing small sections though but I am applying it to my whole head

(Before I cleaned my forehead >.< ) using small amounts I was able to cover my whole head each section at a time..my hair is fairly long too but if you have longer or thicker hair I would recommend getting two tubes just to be safe! 3oz was exactly enough for me, once I added most of the dye the I had someone check the back for me just to make sure I didn't miss any spots in the back since I did it alone. If you are not comfortable dying or bleaching your hair alone definitely get some help from someone you know or got to a professional. I left the dye in for 45 minutes, rinsed it out with cold water and I used sulfate free shampoo. This will help the dye not fade as quickly. After letting my hair air dry here is how it turned out: n_n

  

The next day, it got late and wanted good lighting for the pictures..as you can see its VERY BRIGHT..! It turned out better than I ever thought, I really love this color..SSQUUUEEE!!! Now to rate everything ^-^

This professional dye is amazing and after dying your hair it actually feels softer and has a lovely shine to it, also Image Beauty packed the box so well if the did get dented in any way it wouldn't have harmed the box of dye.

I would recommend using Pravana Vivids dye if you would like to add any vibrant colors or even a different color from these..if you check out the website there are so many options to choose from..and if you can't get this at a salon or somewhere near you that sells Pravana you can always order online and I've ordered from this site quite a few times and I highly recommend it and haven't had a bad experience any of the times.

Old pic but this is how my hair turned out when I used Pravana Vivids in Violet...I had this color for a long time and took several months for it to fade out completely, this is also still available on the site. I LOVE THIS COLOR ;u;
